About Me

Hi, I’m Gabrielle — a birth and postpartum doula, homeschooling mom, animal lover, and passionate advocate for families navigating pregnancy, birth, and the fourth trimester.

My journey into doula work began after the birth of my second child, when I realized just how much of a difference real support can make. That experience lit a fire in me to be the kind of resource and steady presence I wish I had — and now I get to do that for others.

I was born and raised near Los Angeles, spent time in Texas helping open the first In-N-Out Burger locations in San Antonio, and eventually returned to California. But Texas called me back, and my family and I are now happily settled here again. I’m married with two kids, and we share our home with a lively mix of dogs, cats, chickens, and frequent foster animals from our local shelter. We even spent two years traveling the country full-time in an RV, exploring 12 states — and the wanderlust never really left.

In addition to doula work, I’m pursuing a career in nursing, and I hold a bachelor’s degree. I homeschool my children and, when I find a quiet moment, I love to explore nature, travel, binge a good TV show, or unwind with music.

As your doula, my goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and truly seen — whether you’re giving birth, recovering postpartum, or figuring out life with a newborn. You deserve a calm, knowledgeable presence in your corner, and I’d be honored to be part of your journey.

  • A birth doula provides continuous emotional, physical, and informational support before, during, and shortly after childbirth. My role is to help you feel confident, informed, and cared for — no matter how or where you give birth.

During labor, I offer comfort measures like massage, position changes, breathing techniques, and calming reassurance. I also help you understand your options, ask questions, and advocate for your preferences. I don’t perform any medical tasks — my focus is on your experience, your comfort, and your support.

Think of me as a steady, knowledgeable presence in the room, there to help you feel heard, respected, and never alone.

  • Postpartum doula care is all about supporting you and your family as you adjust to life with a new baby. Every family’s needs are different, but support often includes newborn care, feeding guidance, emotional support, light housekeeping, sibling care, and giving parents time to rest or shower.

    • Overnight shifts are a minimum of 8 hours, typically from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. I care for your baby while you sleep, assist with overnight feeds, and help create a more restful night for everyone.
